Completely redesigned to be more functional, professional, and stylish. With a long wheelbase option and flexible interior configuration. And for the first time, Transit Connect® is available as a plug-in hybrid.

UTILITY

LARGER LOADSPACE

The Transit Connect Van offers larger load capacity compared with our previous model. There's up to 3.7 cubic metres of loadspace in the long wheelbase (LWB) option, with a maximum load length of 2,150 mm to the bulkhead. The short wheelbase (SWB) comes in at 3.1 cubic meters with a maximum load length of 1,797 mm. Both options can handle two euro pallets†.

MOVEABLE BULKHEAD

FlexCab™ has two rows of seats and features an innovative moveable bulkhead. So, you can set the balance between cab and cargo space. On the one hand, it's a capable 5-seater. Or switch out the second row of seats to max out the cargo space. Either way, there’s still space for a euro pallet in the rear in both the SWB and the LWB, which can be loaded through the back.

HEAVYWEIGHT CAPABILITY

Transit Connect has a gross payload capacity of up to 792 kg for the LWB and 743 kg for the SWB† With up to 1,500 kg‡ towing capacity for hauling larger equipment.

FIXED BULKHEAD

All Van variants have a fixed bulkhead with the option of a fixed window. We've shaped the bulkhead to balance passenger comfort with load access through the side door.

New to Transit Connect, All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is designed to help drivers in tough conditions. It delivers increased traction in poor weather and over rough surfaces. It also helps to improve cornering and road holding, even with standard tyres. Available for the 122 PS EcoBlue Diesel powertrain.

EV DRIVE MODES

Transit Connect Plug-in Hybrid has four EV drive modes to help maximise driving range. EV Now for electric-only driving, ideal for low emissions zones. EV Auto supports the electric motor with engine power when needed. EV Later conserves electric power for later use. While EV Reserve saves a user defined level of electric power for later use.

CONNECTED CHARGING

Use the FordPass™ app to monitor your PHEV battery levels, view charging status, schedule and monitor home charging, and view remaining charge times. On the vehicle’s digital instrument cluster you can monitor current EV usage and remaining battery range.

CABIN PRECONDITIONING

Set your perfect cabin conditions before you drive. With preconditioning you can heat or cool the cabin while Transit Connect is charging. So, you can head off with a full charge at your perfect temperature.

DIGITAL DRIVER INTERFACE

Completely redesigned to be simple to use and easily customisable. Combining a 10.25-inch digital instrument colour cluster and a 10-inch colour touchscreen to control the infotainment system.

PRO TRAILER BACK-UP ASSIST

Optional pack for help reversing with a trailer attached. Just shift into reverse to activate the system. Pro Trailer Backup Assist includes a rear-view camera and sensors to manage reversing manoeuvres. All you need to do is guide the trailer safely into place using the control knob and rear-view camera screen.

REAR-VIEW CAMERA

A live rear view on the centre-console screen, with virtual lines to help you manoeuvre. There are three optimised views: Parking, Trailer Support, and Cross Traffic (wide angle). Included in the optional Driver Assistance Pack and Pro Trailer Back-up Assist.
